Macka B x Ted Ganung Stop It, Idiot Ting (Jack & Jointz Remix)

The world renowned Macka B teams up with Ted Ganung for a stripped back piece of
musical poetry with 'Stop It, Idiot Ting'. The Jack & Jointz remix adds a super-funky
bassline and a live violin which fits perfect to the introspective message. Macka B is
known for his storytelling ability, and he's pulled it off again with some quite charming
indeed.

Chezidek   Unite

On July 23rd Rastafarians celebrate Emperor Haile Selassie I's birthday. On that date this
year, Chezidek’s highly anticipated album, Hello Africa, will be released by Tad's
International Record. It is his second collection of songs to be released in three months,
following Timeless, a set he did with Ligerians, a French band.

Dean Fraser     Christmas a Cum (Llamma)

IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Dean Fraser. Nyahbinghi Christmas , that is.
That's the title of the saxophonist's first Yuletide album, scheduled for release in November by
Tad's International Record. It has 16 Christmas songs, driven by traditional Rastafarian rhythms.
Fraser began production on the instrumental project last year with co-producer Tad Dawkins Jr.
“Nyahbinghi is Jamaican music, an' I want to bring a new instrumentation to these songs. Wi keep
it musical but with a different vibe,” Fraser told the Jamaica Observer.
Some of the popular songs that receive the 'binghi' treatment are When a Child is Born, Christmas
A Cum (Mi Waa Mi Llama), Long Time Ago, Santa Ketch Up Inna Mango Tree, Merry Christmas,
Feliz Navidad and Auld Lang Syne.
For the authentic Nyahbinghi feel, Fraser brought in percussionists Congo Billy, Hector Lewis and
Denver “Feluke” Smith. The sessions were some of the last for Smith who died in September from
colon cancer.
Bassist Mikey Fletcher, guitarists Dario Morgan and Lamont Savory, keyboardist Andrew Marsh
and flautist Zoe Mcintyre also played on the songs.
Fraser has done a number of albums, including instrumental tributes to Bob Marley and Dennis
Brown. He also played on Christmas albums by other artistes but the thought of doing one for
himself never came up until last year.
“I wouldn't say Christmas is my favourite time of di year; only thing I love about Christmas is di
songs...they are well-written and worth listening,” he said.

Dr. Dubenstein   Duga 3

On their debut album “Conspiracy Theory” – which came out in 2017 - Dr. Dubenstein hit
listeners with discourse dub with a conspiratorial touchdown – thus easily garnering
themselves the accolade of being one of the most interesting acts of their genre in that
year.
Derrick Parker aka Dr. Dubenstein entrances listeners with a dreamy, sure handed mixture
of roots, psychedelic spirit and electronic tinkering that guides us unerringly to an altered
state.
Formidable musicians from Steel Pulse, Dub Syndicate, Roots Radics jam and conjure up
heavily rolling rhythms - and rumour has it that there were even WAILERS warhorses
involved in the project to add some melody. It looks like that a couple of beats where still
around and he formed DUGA 3…

 Dubvisionist meets
Dubblestandart & Firehouse Crew

Fly Me To The Moon
(Dubvisionist Dub)

Dubblestandart presented with the deepest respect to the originators a limited selection of
reworks of reggae classics, focusing on works that have been pivotal for the inspiration of
Dubblestandart’s bandleader and bass player Paul Zasky since day one, when forming the
band in the year 2019.
A lot remixers and dubbers around the globe where inspired and exited about the idea.
Felix Wolter aka The Dubvisionist was keen to dub it. In his Studio M7, which is not only
the home of The Dubvisionist with its classic reggae and dub mixes, but also the refugium
of PFL, which emerged from the triphop/lounge project Pre Fade Listening. PFL makes
music for the more chilly moments of life and for the nightly cult TV series "Spacenight" of
the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation, known beyond the borders of Germany, with its
images of the earth from space, accompanied by spherical music. In this tradition he
mixed Reggae Classics to a milestone of modern DUB.

current state of affairs amidst the pandemic, with vocal help from the legendary Zion I. The
song is a great teaser for more incredible music to come. This follows the 2019 release of
their album BELEAF, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart and #2 on
iTunes Reggae Chart.

So Vital x Phasiyaa &
Don Sinini

oCEAN PALACE

We are happy to announce the third release of So Vital's Bedroom Bashment series:
"Ocean Palace" will be released on November 12th and sounds like heartache in Atlantis.
Phasiyaa and Don Sinini's voices glide on the bittersweet tune like two dolphins through
the waistline waves of So Vital's latest Neo Dancehall riddim. Recorded in our Kreuzberg
studio, the vocals reflect the tension between trust and insecurity of an emerging
relationship and are constantly being whipped up by So Vital's driving drums. Wavy!
