Το Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (IATSE Local 706) αποκάλυψε τους υποψηφίους για τα ετήσια βραβεία MUAHS, με το Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 να ηγείται του διαγωνισμού μεγάλου μήκους με τέσσερις υποψηφιότητες και τον Maestro να ακολουθεί με τρία ονόματα.

Το δράμα Maestro του Netflix Leonard Bernstein του Μπράντλεϊ Κούπερ συγκέντρωσε ονόματα για μακιγιάζ περιόδου ή/και χαρακτήρα, χτένισμα εποχής ή/και χτένισμα χαρακτήρων και ειδικά εφέ μακιγιάζ.
Οι υποψήφιοι μεγάλου μήκους του MUAHS Guild διαφέρουν αρκετά από τη λίστα των φιναλίστ των φετινών Όσκαρ για την κατηγορία.
